Data & privacy statement

• Local read & storage: The system clipboard is read solely to display history on this Mac. Text, links, code, and rich-text records are persisted in the app’s private directory; images are saved as high-quality JPEG (quality 0.9) in a private directory that no third-party app can access.
• Nothing is uploaded: PasteCube has no account system. All history and images stay on this Mac and never touch a third-party server.
• No ads · no tracking: The app contains no ads, no behavioral telemetry, and no third-party privacy-collection SDKs.
• Accessibility permission (optional): Auto-paste relies on the Accessibility permission and is only requested when you enable “Auto-paste when selected”. You can revoke it anytime under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
• Full data control: Clear all history (including on-disk images) anytime via “⋯ → Clear Clipboard…”, or revoke consent beyond the first-launch gate.

System permissions

PasteCube requests only a small set of permissions, each tied to a specific feature. Missing or revoking a permission only disables that feature and does not affect the rest:

• Clipboard access: reads the system clipboard to display history locally — the core function of a clipboard tool.
• Accessibility (optional): simulates ⌘V into your previous app for auto-paste. Without it, items are copied but not auto-pasted.

Independent app statement

This app is a native macOS application developed independently by the CortexGrid (矩见) team. It is not affiliated with any third-party clipboard tool, including tools with the same or similar name on other platforms.
